Juffer

De Juffer is a custom family of sculptural planters developed for a residential project in Pijnacker. Designed specifically for the architecture of the development, the collection consists of four planter types in different sizes, produced as a series of 76 pieces.
The curved geometries draw from the lines of the building, creating softer transitions between the private outdoor spaces of the apartments. Acting as soft spatial dividers, the planters introduce privacy, greenery, and rhythm throughout the development.
The colour palette was developed in response to the building materials, referencing tones of brick, wood, concrete and metal to integrate naturally into the architectural context. Produced from recycled plastic and fabricated in-house, the project combines circular production with site-specific design at architectural scale.
