The Waterfront project in Thessaloniki was a temporary public installation developed as part of the Print Your City initiative, engaging citizens in sustainable urban design. For 30 days, residents and visitors experienced the city’s seafront through a series of custom-designed benches and seating elements made entirely from recycled plastic.
The installation turned the waterfront into an open testing ground for circular furniture, demonstrating how local plastic waste can be transformed into functional and visually distinctive urban infrastructure while raising awareness around recycling and collective responsibility in public space.
